Welcome to the Holy Family Knanaya Catholic Mission, a vibrant community of faith serving the Knanaya Catholic diaspora across Eastern Ontario.

As a proud constituent of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Mississauga, our mission is dedicated to preserving our deep spiritual heritage, fostering our unique cultural traditions, and passing on our ancestral faith to the next generation. We worship primarily in Malayalam, keeping our rich liturgical roots alive and vibrant.

🌐 Our Regional Community

While centrally coordinated as the Ajax Mission, our parish family proudly extends pastoral care and community networking across a wide geographic footprint. We warmly welcome and actively serve Knanaya families residing in:

• Durham Region: Serving our core community clusters across Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, and Oshawa.
• Scarborough: Connecting families on the eastern edge of Toronto to our liturgical and spiritual events.
• Belleville Area: Providing a spiritual anchor, local network communication, and seasonal support for members stretching further east toward Belleville, Trenton, and Kingston.

⛪ Holy Qurbana & Worship Schedule

We gather weekly as a community to celebrate the Holy Qurbana. Please note that our liturgical services are hosted at our partner venue in Pickering:

• Holy Qurbana Time: Every Sunday at 4:00 PM

👥 Ministries & Community Life

Our mission thrives through active community engagement and spiritual formation outside of Sunday Mass:

• Faith Formation (Catechism): We provide structured Sunday School classes for children to grow deeply in their Catholic faith and Knanaya heritage.
• Koodarayogams (Family Units): Regional family prayer groups meet regularly across our different zones, fostering fellowship, mutual support, and communal prayer closer to home.
• Cultural Festivals & Feasts: Throughout the year, we gather to celebrate traditional feasts (Perunnal) and cultural events unique to our community.
